How to Maintain Your Ceramic Coating for Long-Lasting Protection

A ceramic coating provides superior protection, but proper maintenance is key to ensuring it performs at its best for years. Follow these simple steps to keep your coating looking fresh, hydrophobic, and durable.

1) Wash Properly (Every 1-2 Weeks)

Use a pH-neutral car shampoo (avoid dish soap or harsh cleaners).

Use the two-bucket method to prevent swirl marks.

Wash with a high-quality microfiber wash mitt for a scratch-free finish.

Rinse thoroughly and dry using a soft microfiber drying towel or a blower.

Avoid automatic car washes with brushes—they can damage the coating.

2) Use a Ceramic Boost Spray (Every 2-3 Months)

Apply a ceramic spray sealant to refresh the hydrophobic properties.

Simply spray and wipe after washing for extra gloss and protection.

3) Remove Contaminants Quickly

Bird droppings, tree sap, bug splatter, and water spots should be cleaned ASAP to prevent etching.

Use a ceramic-safe quick detailer or waterless wash for spot cleaning.
